Linkin Park Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2007 12:20 pm Okay, firstly I would like to say that I just tipped a bowl up to get the chip crumbs at the bottom, and they slid past my mouth into my hair. Secondly, I'm going to Linkin Park tonight!!!!! I can't wait!!!! It's gonna be awesome, Linkin Park are the shit, don't try to burst my bubble coz it aint gonna happen. Mike Shinoda and I will finally be together, as is our destiny |

RE: Linkin Park Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2007 5:19 pm totally gotta agree there. i went last nite, we had seated tickets but the atmosphere was amazing, we were all standing and screaming!! must say i was impressed with how many of the lyrics i remembered!! as for the new songs, was quite glad they stuck to most of the older stuff, personally i thought bleed it out would way overpower what ive done but i preferred the latter live. As for Chris Cornell i feel he did quite well considering the crowd didnt seem that into it at first, and as for the girls doing tequila shots in the bathroom...good on ya...randum lol well i loved it brilliant concert!! awesome band and they put on a outstanding show what about the rest of ya who went? |

RE: Linkin Park Posted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 1:18 pm We went on the Friday night pretty much just to see Chris Cornell, who kicked arse!!! It was so good to see him preform a range of songs, although his backing band were a bunch of posers and didn't nearly have the energy of Audioslave or Soundgarden as you would expect! Chris belted it out and looked as hot as usual!! We stayed for half of Linkin park who were better than i expected, great stage show and energy. Would have loved to see more of Chris Cornell though, hopefully he will return with a solo show, but i don't like the chances......... |

RE: Linkin Park Posted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 3:15 pm So did Chris do any stuff from his old bands or did he play solo stuff. (cuz I hate it when guys leave bands, go solo, then try relive their glory days with half assed covers of their own songs). His voice is shot to buggery... those acoustic tracks they play on the rock sound like he's in pain hitting those old high notes... a crying shame, because he had one of the best voices in rock back in the early 90's.... his vocals on Badmotorfinger are just outstanding. And considering his status in rock, it's almost an insult that he supported Linkin Park, not the other way around. /end bitchy elitist rant |
