RE: Stars In Their Eyes Posted: Wed Dec 19, 2007 7:22 am Now there's some auditions I'll be watching! Nothing better than watching deluded hopefuls make complete fools of themselves on national TV |

Oh man there's a plethora of great Idol auditions on youtube... my girlfriend and I lost hours just laughing at people The calibre of NZ Idol was even lower than usual last time around... I guess most self-respecting musicians are at home writing songs, playing gigs and doing the hard yards. |

RE: Stars In Their Eyes Posted: Mon Jun 9, 2008 5:48 pm Has anybody been watching this drivel??? It's like they'd already scraped through the bottom of the barrel with Idol, so now we're left with the twigs and dirt underneath. If NZ-On-Air are funding this garbage then they've all but lost my support entirely. |

RE: Stars In Their Eyes Posted: Tue Jun 10, 2008 3:26 pm Actually, what's up with this resurrection of Wheel of Fortune??? Between that and Stars in Their Eyes we've got this revival of presenters from when I was a kid... an attempt at grabbing the late 20's-early 30's target market who used to watch Simon Barnett and Jason Gunn on TV when we were twelve years old. |

The guy that did Neil Diamond the other week was spot on. But who did they give it to that night? Yep, some yarpy tart trying to be Anastasia. The judges are seriously farking retarded. At least the UK version with that creepy Matthew guy presenting it had some decent performers. |

RE: Stars In Their Eyes Posted: Thu Jun 12, 2008 12:25 pm Yeah as tacky as the UK version was, there were some good acts on it. Heh, Matthew Kelly... creeps me out, even though he was 100% cleared of those kiddy fiddling charges. I saw a really interesting interview with him on Parkinson which kinda changed my view of him a bit. |

Check out this vlog I made for school, I'm sure you can guess who is at the butt of it. http://www.vimeo.com/1135880 Haha I saw that Tina Turner guy the other night too, so so awful but funny. And that young girl singing Furgie, fucking awful! This message was edited by johnsoncraigsbc on Thu Jun 12, 2008 8:58 pm. |
