A friend is trying to find a copy of (apparently) a Mockers song called "My Atonement" which I can find no reference to. Does anyone out there know of this track? There is a track of that name by Sodom but I don't know if it's the same song.

I very much doubt Sodom covered the Mockers... Sodom are a German thrash metal band.

...I've done some investigating and there doesn't seem to be a song by that name on any of their albums... A B-side perhaps? Maybe a solo song by Andrew Fagan?

Thanks for your responses so far. My informant believes it is on an album called "The Emperor's New Clothes" which I still can't find any reference to. All suggestions gratefully accepted.

They have a song called "The Emperor Strikes Out" that was on a tribute album.

Are you sure you've got the right band name?

My "informant" is certain she had an album by the Mockers called "The Emperor's New Clothes" and loved a particular track called "My Atonement". This was in the 80's and her album was subsequently stolen and she now wants to replace it.
A friend of a friend knows Karen Hay so I think I will take this query directly to the source, so to speak. Thanks for your interest.

Evidently that IS an album by the Mockers, it came out in 1987 but I can't find a tracklisting anywhere for it.

Time for ya to go digging through 2nd hand CD's I think.
