Amie Street Posted: Thu Mar 6, 2008 10:50 am This is for anyone who's recorded an album and wants to get it out there. http://www.amiestreet.com I released "A Message from Mars" about six weeks ago and now I have a fan base from all over the world. Ts&Cs aren't too scary. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the resources to mass produce CDs. For anyone interested in progressive, psychedelic or ambient music, my album can be found here. http://amiestreet.com/atikakadisha |

RE: Amie Street Posted: Sun Mar 9, 2008 7:04 am johnsoncraigsbc: Hi, I'm glad you like it. We have a few hard copies floating around for friends and family. If anyone wants a copy on CD, just email me at [email protected] and include a phone number or something. I was thinking a good temporary solution for those who want a physical copy could be to setup a trademe auction. That was just the first thing that came to mind, however I'm open to suggestions. Kraven: Selling primarily online does limit your market quite significantly but its a safe option and a good way to test a product before committing to the type of large investment required for production and distribution of CDs. Amie Street has these things it calls voucher codes. When you create a profile, try entering either "brown" or "rubberbandbanjo" to get some free credit to spend on music from the site. Let me know if these codes don't work any more and I'll try to find some others. I think I found them when I googled "amiestreet voucher" or something. |
