RE: PHP server Posted: Tue Apr 1, 2008 10:54 pm None of the above. It's written in PHP by my own blood, sweat and tears... |

RE: PHP server Posted: Tue Apr 1, 2008 10:59 pm Wouldn´t that take ages. I´m doing a user generated project at school at the moment, its quite hard to get my head around. I need to create a site where I can source pictures from the result of a search engine search and then let people comment on them. How do find time to do all this site and work too! Legend. |

RE: PHP server Posted: Tue Apr 1, 2008 11:17 pm Oh I would definately use a CMS if I was going to create a new website. However, these weren't around when I started muzic.net.nz, so I had to do everything the old fashioned way. Now it would simply be too hard to change. Do you actually have to write the code for your project, or can you just grab something opensource? You should be able to find something that does what you're wanting to do fairly easily. |

RE: PHP server Posted: Wed Apr 2, 2008 11:19 am Oh nah we don´t have to write the code as such, I suppose we can do anything as long as it works in the end. But figuring out how to do it is the hard part. I´m using Joomla, which seems ok but now I need to figure out how to add and adjust the modules I need. I wish I knew more about all this stuff. |
