not a hobby it's a way of life Posted: Tue Sep 30, 2008 10:24 am I can't believe as i trawl through classifieds day after day searching for committed members to help push my band reverence along that no wants to really truely wants to play music as there carrer they say they do but really they don't....... most people think that they will work at thier jobs until the band any band will start earning enough income then go full time ....it won't happen........ if i'm horribly wrong at this point please let me know .... and if you know the formular to prove it again please let me know reverence have been gigging now for around 6 months we are lucky enough to have some real good friends Bass and Vocals that are prepared to get us on the stage they have learnt the songs and play thier hearts out on the stage but thats it if we want to take it to the next level we need the right people my think is this......... it's about the members real committed members not part timers I think i finally get why incomplete bands or muso bugger off over seas purely to pull from a larger gene pool ok the larger question is this before we pack up and go else were is there anyone in NZ who really wants to play/perform rock music for a living and how the hell do i find them Jayce my space reverencenz |

You just have do be super-dedicated and really love the music you're making. Which I wasn't, so I quit my last band.
