Kid got into my CD collection.. Posted: Sun Sep 27, 2009 5:05 pm And broke a few, scratched a few. Not that big a deal but I wasn't happy at the time. Turns out silly children are attracted to shiney things as well as magpies! In hindsight it's very cute and of course I can't get mad at my own offspring, but if this continues I'm gonna have to invest in some high shelving! Anyone else lost a few CD's/records to the littleones? This message was edited by urbansounds on Sun Sep 27, 2009 5:05 pm. |

RE: Kid got into my CD collection.. Posted: Tue Sep 29, 2009 12:48 pm I seem to have lost a few metal CDs to my sister, who's into more extreme metal than me. Although, she moved overseas and I claimed a few of hers to save them getting stored away, so it works both ways. It's a good thing I don't have any critters around to break my CDs. A few of them are quite rare or irreplaceable. I suppose if I really care about the small-run CD-R ones, I should have them backed them up to a lossless format instead of just mp3. |
