Really need a practice space in Wellington or some alternative way to practice...

How do you guys get away with practicing loud????

Seems impossible in Wellington.

spend a few hundy on soundproofing.
that doesnt mean crappy mattresses or egg cartons, it means solid thick timber walls then put polystyrene blocks on the inside to lessen the reverb.

where would i get the appropriate timber/polystyrene????
I have looked into sound proofing but apparently it is not worth while.
