*** Hexadecimal Feat. Rage - 'Bulletbelt' (UK/NZ) ***

Hexadecimal returns to Fast Eddies to celebrate the release of his new album 'Reform/Restore' on UK's Distinctive Records. Joined by live guitarist 'RAGE' from Wellington's renowned Metalists BULLETBELT playing along to some of his new tunes!

This new record, featuring the accompanying single 'Cracks', sees Hexadecimal take a leap forward with more life and air in his productions for a refined and positively contemporary stance on the breakbeat / bass music continuum. The opening track 'Sweat Tears Of Blood' incorporates strong syncopated percussion motifs with a down-tuned vocal for a stormy introduction.

Tracks like 'Ain't No Disco' and 'Boom & Bust' fly head first into the dancefloor with huge drum stomps, soaring bass lines. 'Grow & Change' is a mutant fusion of acid, breakbeat and Dubstep that maintains the historical lineage and cutting edge techniques of all three. Next up, Live beatbox extraordinaire, the Melbourne-based artist Dub FX, lends his vocal talents to the staggering 'Open Your Eyes'.

'Emotive' is an old school half-time dubstep heater with a cracking vocal from Kurnel MC, swiftly follwed by a twisted mixture of synth bass, dub skanks and rock guitar licks on 'Trauma'. The album then rounds off with the melodic 'Which Way', featuring Ingrid Hakanson doing her sultry best.

Reckless are proud to announce the return of Funk 'n' Slocuts for his first north island Reckless party. Ryan is known by many as one third of the hugely successful kiwi dance/rock act MINUIT. He comes to Fast Eddies hot on the back of finishing their new LP 'Last Night I Saw This Band' so expect to hear their new sounds on the dance floor. Plus a barrage of different styles from funk & house to disco and dubstep.

Reckless & Sandwiches resident DJ Dunsta needs no introduction to the Wellington music scene. A DJ overloaded with experience DJing playing on lineups with some the worlds greatest DJs. Make sure you are there to witness one of Wellington's finest talents playing quality Breaks & Electro at his Reckless @ Fast Eddies debut. This has got to be BIG!

Bootie Crews Tone-E has been making some serious waves.
His productions as Tone-E/Symptom have been turning heads so watch this space and see just where this takes him. After a solid set at the last Reckless party, Antony comes back to Fast Eddies as a Reckless resident. No one else could get the party started like this guy.
