Hey man, you can't say that a band sucks, thats just a low blow aye. You can say your not into them, and that's kool. But putting them down is really mean.
Besides from pop idols like britney and kylie, I guarantee that every single artist in the music industry has had to work really hard to get where they are. And when you put them down like that, it's so degrating it'd make them feel some regret for becoming a rockstar. I mean yea, they probably wont even see these forums but it's the princible.
You act as though they are characters in a story or something. When really they're real human beings with feelings, just doing what they love. So you gotta give respects to that aye.

I say it's not a real band unless they play their own instruments and anything rock is better that hip hop, pop, rap and all that other shit ppl call music! But Punk would have to be my fave!

metal and punk are my favourite genres. I like rock that you cant actually classify, like CKY. whatever genre you'd put TOOL and A PERFECT CIRCLE in is good too. I reckon Breaking Benjamin's pretty good but theyre still kinda new so im waiting around to see how good they actually are. Gotta see them prove that theyre a "good" band now, you know...
