Hay, I was wondering if any one knows any good clothing labels I can get some punk inspired clothing from? I want to support NZ stuff so If any of you guys know of any please post the websites or adresses and I can check it out.

Often it doesn't matter where the label's "from" ...most of it's made in China.
I like Drunken Money. Got a great tee last year (cost a bit) from a small boutique on George Street, Dunedin. I assumed it was a NZ creation but have just checked the label. Says made in China.

Good you raised this ....we should buy stuff MADE here. Not just designed here.

Well you dont really need any good labels to wear punk clothes{dat make sense!?}

Any who its jst about mixn and matching clothes...really!!
There is some cool as brands in the shops that has some type/form of punk it!

Like Billabong , Quicksilver , Von Dutch , Jay Jays clothes , Jean Westa nd Levis ect.

Its all about mixin and matchin. Cheap pants with a Von Dutch t-shirt makes u look like the whole outfit cost ya $200

What the fuck? Do you you lame-asses think punk is a label? It's an attitude. Punk is a rejection of commercialisation. Label clothing is the antithesis of punk. If you buy label clothing you need your head read - do you schmucks know what the mark-up is on that stuff? I see you retards walking around in sandshoes that cost you $200 but were imported for about $30 and made for half of that.

Can anyone of you tell me why a shirt is better because it has a trade mark on it? It isn't. You are letting a commercial enterprise label you, use you as a walking lobotomised billboard. Not only do you mouthbreathers not mind this, you actually feel cool being used as an advertisement! The corporations that make this crap are pissing themselves laughing because YOU are paying THEM to advertise THEIR shit.

Real punk doesn't need a brand.

I just want to support local nz ppl like newbies who are making clothes and trying to get it out there. Im sick of buying shit that costs 200 bucks and is just commercialized and thought id support local kids making shit and following their dream and try support them. i dont think that is commercialized just quite yet. sorry for the mix up. maybe i should of explained better. if any of you guys make tshirts and shit then post your contacts cos your the ones i want to support.
