oh man, another AFI fan! Fantastic! theyre such an underrated band but theyre so good aye. I'm a pretty big fan, I got sing the sorrow, art of drowning, all hallows ep and black sails in the sunset. the older ones are real hard to find but ill hunt them down shit, I live for the day when I get to see them live.

any way about this whose sexier thing, I wouldnt really think of that cause Im a guy. but if it was a who's cooler poll Id say davey havok.

Davey Havok kinda looks like Robert Smith anyway, but who cares. AFI does rock. I think everyone should listen to Sing The Sorrow. Its an amazing record

Wow, I just joined this site and already found other AFI fans! Sometimes it gets tiring when people say 'Who?' when you say you like AFI... Yeah, so my vote would be for Davey Havok.
I agree that Sing the Sorrow is an amazing record, but what about AFI's earlier stuff? I got Shut your mouth and open your eyes recently (my 6th AFI album ). It's psycho, but definitely great.
Hey Nosferatu_66 - get AFI cds off Amazon - they're easy to find and really cheap, too. By the way, awesome name - Nosferatu is such a great movie, isn't Max Schrek the most incredible vampire ever??

hey, old afi stuff is great. sing the sorrow is just real cool cuz its still stickin to afi's style even if most bands changed to suit what's mainstream now, but afi has inproved on what they have been and all, and its real cool

hey radiating eyes, thanks for the tip on the AFI cd's. ya know the thing I love the most about AFI, is their lyrics. They're so beautiful and poetic aye, the only other artist I know of that writes poetry rather than a song is the Smashing Pumpkins. I especially like Death of the seasons, I mean shit, that is art.

oh and about my name, nosferatu, I havn'y actually seen it, but I do know about it. Because I have seen the movie "Shadow of a Vampire" which is about the story of making Nosferatu. But yea, Im real keen on seeing it aye, but I cant find it anywhere, at no video stores. How did you see it?

yeah, AFI lyrics are truly great (they've come a long way from 'I wanna mohawk but mom won't let me get one' ).
I got Nosferatu out from Otago uni's library. It was a special edition which had the original film (with english subtitles instead of german). Just keep looking, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. Shadow of the Vampire does it no justice!

on the topic of AFI..... Who else is started to think they are going pop... daveys voice is just turning pop. i liked their old stuff when they were true punk.but still AFI do rule. i mean who couldn't like total immortal.

just because davey doesn't scream all the time doesn't make his voice pop. He has an amazing voice, and on sing the sorrow you can really see how well he can sing. But I do see what you mean - AFI have definitely changed! It's funny how as bands get older, their music gets slower, more well-written and the band really loves their music more and more, but the fans start to hate it... do you know what I mean? It will be interesting to see what their next album is like

yeah i know what you mean. i can see that happening with greenday too. they mastered the 3 min pop punk songs and are trying new things. i do like sing the sorrow but just like there old shit better.
