New Years - Mt Maunganui

Ok so Mt Maunganui for new years - does anyone know of any gigs etc that are gonna be happening there over that period of time? or even just new years eve?? any help is appreciated - preferably good ones

ummm...I can tell you from experience that the Mount is not really the place for new years unless you like the family atmosphere (I'm originally from Tga, and was there last new years).

However, Shihad are play at Brewers Bar on Boxing Day...

thanks for the warning, but i'm not going down for the hundreds of teenagers, i'm going to get away from auckland. I just thought i'd ask around to see if there were any gigs worth going to while i'm there. But thanks
