Interest in the gig has rocketed over the last couple of days with event organiser Paul Marshall citing an unrivalled level of support and enthusiasm from the industry at large. “What started out as an idea 10 days ago is now a reality. It’s going to be a great gig and we hope that New Zealanders see it as an opportunity to show their support to the thousands of people affected by the Tsunami while enjoying some of New Zealand’s best bands live,” says Paul. Leading Kiwi musicians have been quick to sign up to play at the eight-hour live gig with the complete line-up consisting of Fast Crew, Tadpole, Jordan Luck, Streetwise Scarlet, Cold by Winter, DJ Logical and Dvs, K’Lee, Augustino, T, Wash, Autozamm, Stylus, Crumb, Exit, Michelle Nadja, Kat McDaull, Epitome, Redline and Taaz Fast Crew’s, Jerome Fortune, says that the hip-hop group were keen to do their bit to help. “We’ve had some hard times over the years and we’re thankful to all the people that supported us, so it’s great to do our bit and help people out when people need it the most,” says Jerome.
