RE: schoolio Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:19 pm ooo we do rather similar subjects. How did you find 6th form graphics and art? I hear that its a pretty big jump from 5th form maths and english to 6th form...scary...but i dont care, im dropping them both in 7th form |

RE: schoolio Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:25 pm 6th form math is a HUGE jump from 5th form and is really, really hard (not tryin to scare you, but honest!). (failed just about everything). english is pretty much the same to me and i can pretty much handle it. Art and graphics stay pretty much the same aswell but i bet 7th form graphics is gonna be better cuz you get to make up yer own briefs and stuff |

RE: schoolio Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:29 pm ok, sounds scary, but i dont think maths and english will be in my future so im not too sad... Yeah graphics should be good. I find it sooooooooo easy and boring though. I did bugger all in class and got top marks. Im looking forward to school i think hey poo_poo, what school are you at, if you dont mind me asking? |

RE: schoolio Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:52 pm lol. the screwed up desks are prolly part of the reason why were gettin a new graphics room. My art room plays really crappy songs on the radio. its on the edge most of the time. the idiots! |

RE: schoolio Posted: Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:58 pm omg, i know exactly what you mean. we didnt have a radio in ours coz we are dumb, so we were allowed to bring c.ds to school to play. of course, the "cool" girls in the class brought along their rap crap and R&B and stuff, ya know, all the things i happen to hate. It had a negative impression on my art, i tell ya. I just ended up taking a discman to school and listening to Smashing Pumpkins whilst drawing "still life" hopefully this year will be more relaxd with a smaller class...fingers crossed |

RE: schoolio Posted: Sun Jan 30, 2005 2:18 pm finished 7th form last year...7th form for me was by far the best year, with the common room, being allowed out of school during study periods and lunch breaks, it was awesome!!! sad that its over now though... |

RE: schoolio Posted: Mon Jan 31, 2005 2:37 pm I'm in 7th form this year woohoo! I'm in a 3rd form class too, so I gotta look out for them. I'm doing English, Classics, Photography, Drama, and yr 12 art, cause I didn't do it last year. I was originally going to do media studies instead of classics, but my dean convinced me not to because it's yr 12 credits, unit standards, and it'll be harder to get into uni. I love it in the darkroom because theres a radio and we get to listen to good music. Nobody really cares what station its on so I put it on Channel Z or the Rock. Man, it's going to be a good year..we don't even have to stay in class, but I will, Ill only skip study and g option. |
