48 may and gnn have the same sound sorta

alot of the new zealand music is good i like it how they have been doing the cokesmokefreerockquest all them years and battle of the bands thats good for the older non high school bands to enter

tho 48 may are not that new
gnn have been here for a year or two

but new bands such as
rival state and incursa and other little bands getting air play and fans all over the country is good

The Gods of Nothing are pretty good... the lead singer/guitarist, Mark used to be in a band called Mailbox skipole which was kinda pop punk, but has now formed this new group.

Their website is http://www.godsofnothing.com
There are mp3s there available for download... and if you like them, please e-mail [email protected] and tell him so :-)
i keep tell him he should continue making music, but sometime he seems disillusioned about it. He'd probably love to hear what you think.

We had Goodnight Nurse and 48 May both play at our school last year and they're quite good live, although, the idiots in the "mosh pit" (if you want to call it that) had bags on and complained alot...

I've heard some stuff from Goodnight Nurse before they got signed, or before they became real mainstream, and I liked that stuff better than their new stuff.
