I bought Evermore's album Dreams about a month ago. Ever since then it hasn't left my cd player once! I mean at first I did think it was pretty average, but it has really grown on me. I think it might possibly one of the best albums I've ever bought. It's such a unique sound, so mature, melodic and dreamy(hence the name).

Whats more, is that it's New Zealand made, and to be honest I've never really been really into a New Zealand band until now. I mean, I love Shihad, Salmonella Dub, Fur Patrol and Pluto. But Evermore is one of those bands you just can't get enough of - everytime I listen to it, I get something more out of it, and thats quite rare.

One track called 'Are you Satisfied???' combines so much colour and texture the result is beautiful piece of art. In 'Dreams call out to me' they take a slighty Oasis sound, expecially within the vocals. Other key tracks 'For one day', 'Into the Ocean' and 'Know it's true'. thats not to say that the rest of the album isn't magnificant.

Overall, this is a perfectly crafted album, for anyone at any age. If you want something thats fresh, strong, mellow, dreamy, epic, even magical, buy this album. I definately recommend it. And if it turns out you don't like it, well at least there's kool photography in the booklet
