New Forum Options

I've been hard at work over Easter adding some cool new features to the forums, to make life a little easier for us and everything that uses them.

The details of the changes are:

Notify Options

You can now set these via the button at the bottom of each forum thread. When enabled, you'll get an email sent to your email address whenever someone posts a new reply to that thread.

If the event that you've enabled this on a really busy thread, don't panic. You'll only get an email from the first new post. All future posts won't generate an email until you've logged in again.

This is an especially useful feature if you post something in the Buy/Sell board and want to know when people have replied to your post!

You can disable your notifications either by going to the thread and disabling it there, or by going to the "Forum Notification" page under "Members".

Sticky Posts

We (the muzic.net.nz people) can now make important threads "sticky". When a thread is made sticky, that thread will always appear at the top, and in bold. Useful if we really want people to see it!

New Emoticons

A few new ones - - these are all available via the buttons on the left hand side when you make a post.

Other Changes

I've also made a few other back-end changes, which should fix a couple of bugs and make general admin stuff a lot easier.

More changes will be made available soon! If anyone finds any problems, please let me know via the Contact Page.
