Liberty Stage/Reverb Room Posted: Fri Apr 22, 2005 1:20 pm Hey everyone. I'm currently renting a place in Symonds St Auckland that used to be the Liberty Stage, then the Reverb Room, in the late 1970s, early 1980s. It's a really cool place - high ceiling, wooden floors, terrible acoustics. Does anyone here have any memories of here? I'd love to hear of bands that played here, any photos, general impressions, anything at all. I've looked around a little bit on the Web and apparently the Clean, the Swingers and a bunch of early NZ punk and post-punk bands played here. ANY INFORMATION WELCOME! |
