My mate auditioned for it in the last season. He sang Roof Fire Burn (I think that's what its called) by The Bloodhound Gang....

Oh well. I like watching the start of it at least so I can watch the miniscule- minded "popstars" sing their hearts out.

yea i quite enjoy laughing at those(cant sing for a rats...) hopefulls no..... brainless dults, and then seeing them feeling proud BEFORE fiona says you stink more than ......i dont no something that smells real bad......

And that's me! Not! Although we do share the same last name. I'm not sure about the choice of her as a judge - she's a fantastic entertainer, but hmmmmmm. Quite likely, I shall be proved wrong.

The idol albums are crap, no one wants to pay 25 bucks for a cd full of lifeless and emotionless tracks, not even written by the actual winner... what kinda idol is that?

At the end of the day, all the producers are looking for is someone who is marketable... and the nz idol producers still can't even do that right.

idols are marketable only a week after their title, then they'd be gone and forgotten, which is good 'cause the music industry ain't big enough for talentless crap, it's already full of other talentless crap.
