Ok first off, go learn some basic english literacy skills and then come back and post. Then we might be able to understand your posts and might consider replying to them. No, No!

First album was brilliant... though with every release there seems to be more and more forgettable songs and I lose interest.

Very tight live.

how can you be tight when no one can hear when you fuck up?

there is so much distortion in those guitars that you can't even tell when they hit a wrong note, and don't fuckin tell me you can because I know!

that guys bass strings are so down tuned its not funny!

play some jazz guitar, then we'll see how talented they are, you can't fuck up in that shit, everyone will be able to tell! Google

Ahhh, the old "all metal is noise" scenario.

I pity the fool.

If you can't tell when they hit a wrong note, it's called "tone deafness".

Get a clue.

And as for fucking up in Jazz music - I beg to differ... a fuck up is a fuck up in any genre.

I play all styles, many instruments... have done for 20 years... and as a result I can see the merits and appreciate the technical aspects of all styles... don't be telling me about the clarity of Korn's Drop-A tuning.

Distortion and down tuning does NOT disguise mistakes.

I find Korn's use of diminished chords also highly effective. Have you heard of diminished chords? Yeah, you might have heard them in JAZZ.

Power chords that rely on the sustain of loud amplifiers doesn't translate well. And considering distortion is one of the defining elements of hard rock and metal, it just wouldn't work.

And they don't actually use that much distortion, no more than other metal bands. Any metal band worth it's weight in hair, beards and beer knows full well that too much distortion/gain kills the crunch of palm-muting and compresses the sound too much.

The first album from start to finish for me. But if I had to pick a song it would be "Lies", just for the killer chorus.
