Besides, this forum is for BDO 05 Rumours .. as in the bands playing haven't been announced yet.

I suggest you actually take the time to listen to more NZ bands before you make comments like that... you can't assume Australian bands are more 'real' when you haven't even listened to most NZ bands.

They big day out website is always out www.bigdayout.com, But i dont think theres any information about 2005 yet. i wonder what the theme will be this time...2003 the circus, 2004 the fishfinger in the plane...maybe it will be something on the beach,giving the fact its in summer

Sublime arn't going to be there, they stopped making music in 1996... the death of lead singer bradley really slowed down the pase of thier career's.

AC/DC, Pixies and Beastie Boy's have all confirmed but nothing is fur sure, last year APC confirmed and then pulled out about a week later, damn Maynard

Would be pretty sweeeeeeet if Rammstein came back again..... I missed tha 2001 BDO... everyone keeps saying ACDC are coming.... didn't the lead singer die???

I am hoping for Linkin Park- as they have been to Aussie recently and are going again!!! Y cnt they jst pop ova da ditch!!! jeez!!!

Also hoping for Hoobastank, Switchfoot, Earshot and The Used!!!

How much are the tix usually and what are the age restrictions???

im not sure what new zealand bands will be playing but these are the ones that played last year

there are also the bands on the hip hop stage and in the boiler room, but i dont listen to that music so im not really sure which are new zealand or not so yea :S

i wish AFI would come aswell!

Does anyone know the date of the Big Day Out next year..?
I'm despo to find out so I can get leave off work.
I'm a Big Day Out virgin so I HAVE to go this year or I will cry myself to sleep, huddling in a feotal postiton everynight till the next one rolls around.

I think the age restriction is 15 years.... That's what it was last year anyways! I think tickets go on sale mid to late October.... usually...

Yep it's official - the first BDO announcement is next Wednesday the 6th of October.

As soon as it is announced we will have it up on the site so watch this space!
