Acid Jazz musicians wanted

I think it would be cool to get together some musicans in Welly here to play original sort of improvised acid jazz - played with real instruments with attached effects etc. when necessary.

I was thinking that a lot of the tunes could have an arrangement with a strong underlying groove with the bass/drums/guitar/keyboard and then there could be tenor sax/flute/vocals soloing over the top.

Most of the arrangement is focussed around the groove. The instruments that are not soloing either are playing rhythm (for keys, guitar, bass, drums) and other instruments play little riffs every now and then (often it's a single 2 or 3 beat riff that is repeated every 4 bars) to contribute to the groove. The lead instruments can either solo independantly, or they can sort of alternate with for example the sax playing 4 bars or something, then the trumpet plays 4 bars in response, and so on which can sound really cool.
There can also be a pre-arranged melody that two or more of the instruments play simultaneously.
