I am a bass player who lives in Mount Maunganui, I am looking for others to jam or form band with. I have been playing bass for nearly twelve months, I played guitar before that. My musical tastes are quite varied, punk (buzzcocks, magazine, joy division), soul (motown, stax), jazz, funk, I'll even try country, but not heavy metal, black metal or Goth.
I am 45 but please don't let that put you off getting in touch, my wife does allow me to play out, lol.
After advertising on other websites and in shops around Tauranga, and not getting much response, I am starting to wonder how music shops survive. I think there must be a lot of closet musicians out there.
