DRUMMER WANTED
BASSIST WANTED
KEYBOARDIST / ORGANIST (May also apply, blues/rock)

DUNEDIN/OTAGO, NZ (I am located in North Dunedin).

I'm looking to form a rock/blues band. We will concentrate music similar (but not the same) to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix's, making our own and probably playing a few covers. We will create our own sound. Although this is the main type of music I would expect us to play, it is not limited to that- of course it's not, music is flexible.

I have played guitar for over 11 years (since I was 7, I am almost 19 now). I have experience playing in bars and clubs and with a wide variety of other musicians. I play a US Fender Strat. My main influences are SRV, Hendrix, Eric Johnson, Joe Satriani and Steve vai. Although I obviously have influences and idols I am a very experimental player and love to try new things and listen to new material, even if it's something completely different from anything else I listen to.

The band I would like to form would probably be a three piece so if you are a Drummer or Bassist give me a yell! We could possibly use a keyboardist or organ player too, that is something I am considering and would discuss with the rest of the group when formed. There would be no 'leader' in the band, it would be very flexible and we would all have equal parts.
