Guitarist,bass player and drummer are currently looking for a vocalist to join professional minded heavy metal band. We have complete originals and covers ranging from Pantera, Slayer, Hatebreed etc.
Looking for a keen, motivated, hard working and talented vocalist to complete our lineup.
We have top of the line gear and are very serious about what we do. Two of the members have moved from the South island just to do this.

Where are the good metal venues in nelson these days?

Wouldnt mind bringing some bands from wellington down for a gig.
I cant think of any except the Fight Club

Ahhh yea Phat club is probably the best location, thats where 8 foot and pretty much every other band goes, theres the Victorian rose but they pretty much only do rock and softer stuff the Yazza cafe isnt too bad pretty small though. Oh and theres the hub aswell but thats for youths i think all in all Nelson is in need of a damn good venue for people to play at. Oh yea there's the Shark club aswell its a pool bar but it gets quite packed they've had bands like ww3 and that go through. What are you into dude ? i mean what genre and stuff.

I play in a wellington metal band FIRE. I used to live in nelson tho and know a few people from down there. Im considering trying the shark club for a gig sometime in the future.
