AKL singer/song writer/guitarist seeks band

I have been playing guitar for about 5 years and writing songs for about 3. I have gig experience in Auckland, transport and gear.
I am looking fo form a band or join one already on the go.
Influences are:
At the drive-in, Sparta, QOTSA, The Strokes, Interpol, Foos. (there are MANY more, but these bands are the closest to the sound I'm looking for personally)

I am looking to make a band with a mixture of these influences. Looking for a guitarist (rhythm and lead), and a bassist. Perhaps a drummer (might already have one).

Hmmm... I'm interested, I think Ive spoken to you on the atdi thread I made. I, and a mate (lives in hamilton) have been looking to get something serious going (apart from the atdi side-project). We have a few ideas up in the air and it sounds like your idea of music is similar to ours. I live right in auckland city so i dont have much of a practice space, usually play acoustic in my apartment when im coming up with ideas. My mate, (plays bass and guitar for about 12 years) has access to a lot of gear, its just getting a space to play organized as well as forging our own sound. If you are interested give us a text, and we can somehow organize a get together...where abouts you live??

well ive got a drummer. and he is keen to go when ever i give the green light. maybe have a jam sometime. that would be cool. i live on the shore, up near albany. I work in the city though.

Cool. The other dude that I jam a lot with, Paul, is coming up this friday. I'll talk to him about it and maybe you can give us a bell this weekend or at any stage. I work during the week too, so I'm always keen for weekend shit, we'll suss it out. Dead keen.

mmmm.. no place to practice at this stage, except my apartment, which is fairly limited to guitars only, (inner city queen street) however, I was considering hiring that place at the rock factory, I think its like, 30 buc for a few hours, not too sure, I'll check it out.
