im a 20 year old from christchurch, don't know much bout starting a band but have an idea for a band centred around the ideals of the 70's punk movement,

im sick of all this permed and perfect emo crap and the usless bands coming out of the music industry at the moment and i want to start a band, but i dont want a band thats perfect, if you cant play for crap dont matter as long as your hearts in it and you are interested in finishing the job that the punk and grunge movements started, if your interested let me know, if your emo or hell bent on being a pop rocker don't bother,

I could be interested.
Im definately into 'that' punk movement and bands like clash, smiths, ramones. Im also into stuff like tom waits but pretty flexible. What do you play? Im a drummer and 20 also

thanks for the reply but i already have a drummer unfortunatly, i am lead vocals (not much of a singer but that aint to important to me) and i just talked to a guy yesterday who is gonna play lead guitar for me so all i need now is a bass player
