I am the drummer in an 80s rock tribute band here in Auckland that plays all those bands you mentioned above and may be interested...

Regular work. My day job is as a concert promoter and I'm fairly busy currently bringing TOTO over for a show in NZ next month. Its been 12 months since my last gig when I was living in the UK and I am wanting to get a band/show up and running playing the best of 80's soft rock, glam rock and hard rock. Gigs likely to start in May as I will use the show as an opening spot on a tour of clubs.

Call me on 021 868712 Layton. I'm in Auckland weekly on business so we can always talk then. If you're ready to go and not getting enough gigs currently it could be worthwhile.

Sounds great! Maskara has gigs booked up until April so some shows May onwards could be great.
Also, I thought Id let you know I am a promoter here in Auckland for "Tribute" shows with a venture a friend and I put together called Ultimtate Tribute Promotions. Mostly in the Hard Rock / Metal genre with bands coming up to Auckland from all around the North Island, and in some cases bands forming the tribute band for me for the night. All the shows were a success, and most sold the venue out.
