Do you want to be in a band?

I am trying to put together a band so that I can play my songs live. I need at least a drummer and a guitarist and/or bass player. Vocal ability would be useful. A passion for music is bloody essential.

DO reply if you want to write and play original music that means something (especially if you like Chris Knox, Neutral Milk Hotel, Velvet Underground, Flaming Lips, the 'Dunedin' sound).

hey! did u go 2 the big day out? apparently the flaming lips were awesum im lookn 4 a punk/rock band i play the drums sing and i can play a little bit of electric-im stil learning im 15 and im a chick email me [email protected]

Yep, I was at BDO and yes, the Flaming Lips totally stole the show. They were astonishingly good - very relaxed after Metallica.

How long have you been drumming for?

hi ive herd alittle bit of what them bands ma m8 is hard out in to nz rock
any way im a rock/metal/alternate or death metal singer i practice all for differnt occations i also play bass im 15 im a male and im located in wairarapa can travel to nerby places but no further than manawatu or welly

Good to hear. I am 32 but don't think I've ever grown up.
I've got my own equipment and am keen to play live again (I have been fiddling around at home mainly).

It would be good to play originals and just have a bloody good time doing it.
