Drummer Wanted for Full Time Covers Band

I am starting a full time 3 piece covers band in Wellington and am looking for a drummer and a bass player. I have done this previously and can almost guarantee to be playing at least 2 gigs a week within the first 6 months and this will increase to around 3 - 5 as the band gets a reputation (obviously the pay will increase too). I still have a few old contacts so initial gigs won't be a problem. I am looking for a drummer/bass player who is serious and committed but also has a great sense of humour and up for some legend times and fun. You will need good gear and transport. Being able to sing backing vocals would also be a bonus but not crucial.

I am a vocalist/guitarist and have played full time around Wellington for 3 years and have been playing part time for about 8 years.

I have just returned from the UK and am keen to get this sorted a.s.a.p. (music and performing is my only source of income!).

It’s basically a combination of tunes that I play solo and that I played in my last couple of bands. These are not all songs I regularly listen to but songs that make me/band versatile so that we can play to any crowd and get more gigs - which is where it's at. In saying that I also try to play songs that either myself of the other band members actually enjoy playing or love the band/artist. Therefore I don’t want to strictly play songs that I already know. I am always up for learning new stuff.

I have done a few originals and am keen to get these happening too sometime in the future.

I don't have anywhere to practise at this stage but will get this sorted once things are starting to kick off.
