versitile auckland lyricst / vocalist looking for a band of misfits

i've recently moved up to auckland and haven't jammed for near on seven months. starting to go a bit mental and need a band to stop me from going charlie manson.

i'm 28 and have been singing for a while now. have jammed with bands in the past and also have had experience gigging, though not extensive.

vocally my main influences would include singers such as jim morrison, maynard, cedric bixler-zavala and ian curtis.

musically my tastes are eclectic and range from motown to industrial metal to 60's psychedelic rock to electronica to blues to classical to...

basically, i can listen to everything except for country and bwitteny spwears and all her evil faceless clones.

i write lyrics and able to write about a range of topics, and to back that up i also really enjoy collaborating with others.

i'm looking for something that's definitely off the wall and going to push me creatively. love experimenting with differing ways of songwriting.

i've got an extremely open mind and desperate to get back into music. established or starting up, electronica or rock...at a stretch...polka...i will consider anything and everything.
