Awakened Inferno Seeking Bass Player

Awakened Inferno are currently seeking a new bass player to fill in for Damien, our current bassist as he is off to uni next year and is leaving the band to put his full attention on his University studies

We are a Christchurch Heavy/Thrash/Progressive Metal band our main influences are Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Whitesnake, Lamb of God and Testament and our originals are from heavy rock to thrash to straight up metal with some metalcore and progressive elements.

The Requirements that we're looking for are:

-Has their own transport and gear
-between the age 15 and 19
-Backing Vocals skills (singing and/or growling preferrably singing)
-Good stage presence and interaction/communication
-Long Hair (not really)
-Creative player, preferrably use fingers (5 or 6 string would be a bonus)
-Has Emotion and Feel with your playing
-Outgoing character and just a generally cool dude!
-Good at picking up songs
-Would have the time to do weekly rehearsals


We usually are an active gigging band whenever we have the time but if anyone's willing to play, that'd be sweet and muchly appreciated but if you know anyone or you think you could pull it off, give us a yell!
