Is there anyone out there?

I have finally managed to grow up and except that popular music isn't going to get any better, so I should stop complaining and get on board if I still can.

This is about money to feed myself so I can stay alive long enough to continue perusing avant guard music. I'm starving to death and I like to entertain people.

So here we go. Musicians wanted to create working covers group. Guitar, Vocal (male or female) drummer or percussionist, instruments like sax, bones and keys etc are most welcome. I mean strait up working musicians wanted to for covers work, own gear, you don't need to be a genius, just honest and reliable though reasonably accomplished playing would be an advantage.

Its very simple really, using what I have learned from 15 years of both succeeding and failing prodigiously as a musician I and any contributions anyone else can make , would like to form a entertainment based group to play pubs and functions. Including hiring a professional manager to cover bookings if or when possible.

a few days before your audition you well be provided with a set list of around 40 common tunes, and a cd and charts of the trickier ones if you like. The point of this is that the songs are played note for note from the album so we can all learn them independently and rehearsals aren't a big deal.


You well absolutely be required to have one (sober) practice a week (practice space provided) with the in intention of finding work as soon as possible.

Anyone else hungry? I'm tired of budget baked beans..

I am also fine with joining an existing working group as a bassist/guitarist as Im a Warr player so can do either, separately or together. thanks
