Auckland Guitarist/Singer looking for Alt Rock Band

I'm a 19 y.o. who's been playing guitar for about 7 years now and never been in a band, I figure it's time to get out there and have some fun and write some music. Would want to play covers and originals and eventually play some gigs.

I'm an OK singer so would be happy to just sing, or be rhythm/singer, or just play lead guitar or whatever. All depends on who's interested out there.

I live on the North Shore but have transport so wanna hear from anyone in the Auckland area.

My influences are pretty broad, everything from Radiohead to the Strokes to the Arctic Monkeys.

im a drummer, been playing like 7 years. im 21 and live on the shore as well. im pretty keen to have a jam, i havent realy been in any bands either. im pretty keen on coming up with some orighinal shit.
