Hi

Our guitar player has emigrated to the states so The Future's Bright are looking for a lead/ryhthm guitar player.

We have completed a self recorded ep which we have uploaded to
www.myspace.com/thefuturesbrightband and bandcamp http://thefuturesbright.bandcamp.com/

Having learnt quite a bit from the e.p. we are now completing further song recordings and are looking for a guitarist to complement the balance and sound of the band.

We are not really looking for a songwriter.

Influences are varied but include Phoenix Foundation, Die! Die! Die!, Mint Chicks, Ennio Morricone, Talking Heads, Ramones, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Stereolab, Yoko One, Smashing Pumpkins, Television Personalities, Cocteau Twins, Smiths, Wilco, Joy Division, Superette, new wave, pop, punk, blues, rock, film music...etc

We practice in Morningside - Mt Albert.
