Hi guys,

My names Rachael im a 19yo singer looking to create a cover band who share a love of music to get together every now and then for jam ses's or even gigs, Im into bands such as Within Temptation, Nightwish, Kamelot, After Forever.. and many more.. mostly rock and metal, but arnt to fussy in the long run. I dont play any instruments, but sing OK. Currently a student in Dunedin.

Hi there.
You have alot of symphonic and power metal bands as your influences, I'm into these aswell and am a big fan of Kamelots sound and Floor Jansens vocals. I'm a drummer in Auckland and have a bass player/song writer with me too. I was wondering if you have any demos on line or for down load?

Sorry I don't have any demo's but Kamelot is definately one of my all time favorite bands and Floor is an inspirational singer for me. If I can manage to get a demo or record anything I'll be sure to post it on this site!

A demo would be sweet, I'm up in Auckland with little chance to travel so it's the only way I'm going to hear your vox.

Have you checked out Star Ones lattest album Victims of the Modern Age? Some of Floors best work yet IMOP.

Hi, based in Auckland and looking to put together Nightwish type band. However you may be to far away........

Tuomas Holopainen is a big influence for me, not cos I play keys (I play guitar) but compostionally. I think he is one of the most underrated musicians out there. Look forward to Nightwish's new album "Imaginarium" end of year.

Thanks for the post, that sounds wickd! At the mo im partially in a band, who just send me stuff and I record vox and send it back while im in Dunedin, I wud be interested in hearing what your interested in playing etc, if you wna flick me and email or sumthing feel free ma emails [email protected]

And Tuomas is amazing! he writes amazing pieces, i miss Tarja's vocals tho, Annete is good, but for me lacks the certain epicness Tarja has. I'm not to keen on Tarja's solo stuff though, but i found a new track of hers the other day called Until ma last breath which i kinda like, u shud check it out!
Definately looking forward to seeing what the new albums going to be like, especially with Tuomas saying in interviews he thinks its the best music hes ever writen!
