Midlife Crisis? Talented but non professional musicians required for 80's band to play at The Crib Bar.
Posted: Tue Apr 26, 2011 3:09 pm
Hello. I am Eddie and I own The Crib Bar in Ponsonby. I bought the bar because I wanted something to do with music, and this is what it is. I want to create an 80's band, promote it and debut it at The Crib. This project means a great deal to, and will be funded by me.

I don't want musicians who are currently in bands or currently performing, I am after a group of people who just love this stuff and want to give it a go. I intend to be in the band, and would like a bunch of like-minded people to join me in my project.

If the band works it will be the 'employed' resident house band of The Crib.

Requirements

- The eighties must be your glory days
- You must be idealistic and 'buy into' the project
- Preferably you will never have done anything like this before
- You must be prepared to give up one night per week and be ready to debut at the end of July
- You must have an absolutley wikked sense of humor

If this sounds like you, or if yiu have any ideas please contact me.
