wanting to get into doing Pantera/Down covers

Gday all,
I'm Sam and I'm 19. I'm a massive Pantera/Down fan and after having a go at belting out some Pantera covers with my mike at home one arvo, I figured it would be great to get into it with guys who can actually play the music.

I'm not particularly good, but out of the numerous vocal covers and stuff that I've seen on youtube, I wouldn't say that I'm the worst out there. But I do enjoy it and it would be awesome to at some stage in the future play Pantera and Down's music for people and get into it. I work in Australia currently and don't have much time off, but this is something I'd be keen to get into in the time that I do have off.
I reckon I can do stuff off cowboys from hell and vulgar display ok, not too good on the stuff after that (although I know the words, its a case of being able to do 'em justice). If theres anyone around Auckland, South Auckland or Pukekohe area especially that would be keen to have a jam sometime, it'd be great to hear from ya. Come on, theres gotta be someone around who can play their music and is into them as much as I am? Anyway,

Hey man,

I could be keen, I play gat and can play bass. Been playing for about five years. Im 19. Could be keen to form some sort of band? need other members though! Would you be interested in moving toward originals in the future?

hey im looking for a vocalist and a bass player im forming a originals band.We have a drummer a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist that does back up vocals to. gday tube screamer...
ill be straight up mate, my job is such that I tend to work for say a couple of months before having the same amount of time on leave (not being a 9-5 job lol). im not gonna be back in nz for another 3 months, but ive got a mate in the same job as me who's got into doing music in his time off, he just plans how to work it all out. I've had a couple of impromptu jams with the brother of a workmate over here at some parties, and it sure is just plain great when the sound comes together....
im into mainly Faith No More, Pantera, Metallica, ACDC anything along those lines.... if ya still looking for someone in august or so, let me know on here, id be keen to have a jam and just see what I could do with like minded people... otherwise if ya get someone else, sweet as, have a good one
