Drummer Wanted

Hello.
We are an experimental, heavy(ish), melodic post-rock band from wellington searching for a drummer with flair and imagination (double kick skills a must) who can handle changing time sig/tempo during songs and loves the chance to give the masses the occasional drum solo cause we love 'em too.
Own gear not essential, we have a drumkit with 2mounted + 2floor toms, snare, kick, crash, ride, china, hi-hat. (and a double kick pedal)

Some musicians/bands we are into include:
The Black Heart Procession, The Cure, The Manic Street Preachers, Suede, Tom Waits, Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins, Rachel Stamp, Placebo, Porcupine Tree, David Bowie (I probably could go on forever but I'll just leave it there)

The Successful applicant must also be prepared to have professional band photos taken within a few weeks of joining as we are planning on organising a tour in the near future.

I wouldn't say that double-kick skills are essential, my favourite drummer (Jimmy Chamberlin) doesn't use double-kick... in fact when I think about it most of my favourite drummers don't use double-kick.

Hey,
I'm a drummer coming over from england. i'm 19 and i've been playing for around 11 years. i've played live a few times, i'm def. up for jamming, seeing what happens i'm up for playing some interesting music, although i've gotta say Rachel Stamp and Placebo are a bit suspect! Smashing P's and Tom Waits is good tho.... Anyway i'm an imaginative and competant player, (hate to brag but what the hell) so give us a shout if you want to play some good tunes and have a laugh-
