Band Wanted. Wellington. Any instrument!

Hi, my name is Rhiain. I’m a 27 year old singer songwriter based in Wellington and I am looking to form a band. The music I write is predominantly piano led, or some, by guitar. So a pianist and guitarist are a must, as are bass and drums. However, I like different sounds so would love to hear from anyone. I have a huge thing for cellos. Fyi. My musical influences (in terms of how I write) would be Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor and Joanna Newsom. Obviously I want to work with people who are like minded and have the same interests, so feel free to get in touch and we can go from there. Am keen to gets a gigging this year.

I'm playing drums and am based in Kapiti area. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and would be at an advanced level. But I switched to drums about 5 years ago and now I'm looking to getting a band going. I listen a wide range of stuff including a lot of singer/songwriters. I've done some drum gigs to date and have my own kit. Keen to get back gigging.
