Thrash metal band wanted in chch

I play bass and/or rhythm guitar, though I prefer bass. My influences are: Cliff Burton, David Ellefson, Dave Mustaine, Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett etc.
I'm at high school, but very serious and have been playing bass for four years, and guitar for three, with a year of drums as well.
Looking for like minded musicians to play some music. Prefer thrash metal, eg early Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, etc, but open to other types of metal or heavy rock.
