Auckland musicians wanted - Indie / Folk / Post Rock

Hello the Internet,

I am looking for other like-minded individuals to start band in Auckland. Any kind of instrument considered but extra special bonus points will be awarded if you are a singer or can provide passable backing vocals. I play guitar and like listening to indie / pop / folk / post-rock kind of stuff - Fleet Foxes, the National, Grizzly Bear, Real Estate, Beach House, the Beatles, Ryan Adams, This Will Destroy You etc etc. Current guilty pleasure is the new Lana Del Rey album.

I've been playing guitar for around 7 years but i've spent the last 6 months traveling, so my playing is pretty rusty at the moment. Luckily I have good gear and lots of effects pedals to cover that up! I'm not looking to get into anything too serious (I will be working pretty long hours most weeks) but in the short-term i'd really like to get an EP recorded and do the occasional gig.

hey man, id be keen to jam sometime soon. am big fan of indie sound. not really a singer but can play guitar, bass, drums and piano pretty well. you'll prob notice im one of the posts b4 yours. im open to different styles of music and have been since was young. only just got back from australia from being there for 4 years. have been playing piano since was 7 and guitar since was 15. am 30. have been in 6 or so bands. a couple were goin places others were just for fun.

Hey! I'm Jo-Ann, 18 years of age ^-^ I sing, play the guitar, drums and a little keyboard and sax. I listen to a huge range of music, excluding heavy metal, hardcore, deathcore, metalcore etc (Just don't enjoy such intensity!). I enjoy listening to classic rock, jazz, indie, folk, acoustic, electronic, rock, reggae and synth-pop.
