Hi,
I play the Roland HPD-15 handsonic with live looping & also standalone.
Hip-hop/soul/neo-soul & rnb DJ. Current projects include Producing Chillstep fusion with Hip-Hop & RnB influences. Lighting sequences for ableton live mixtapes. Video remixes & Exploring the production of other genres such as Trap, deep house & dub. Really enjoy working with Acoustic guitaring also. Getting much better at writing & influencing/guiding rhythmically catchy placement of vocals tightly into the music so it would be great to work with writers that are open to integrating their lyrics into a number of possibly suitable genres or styles.
Natural talent with a need for growth by means of collaborations with other musicians, writers, rappers, vocalists, electronic producers, neo soul producers, dub & any all round talented practitioners of the musical arts. Most importantly key that you are serious, dedicated & open to share & try various concepts or ideas. Both yours and mine.
A well established home recording and rehearsal studio & live rig that is plug n play for any collaborators. Main tools of trade are MOTIF Keys, Ableton Live, Handsonic, Cubase, Turntables (Serato DJ), Traktor, Acid Pro & Vegas Pro, AKG. Also looking at establishing commercial studio services such as voiceovers, jingles and movie/tv/advert scores as this kind of production work also comes naturally too.
Lastly worthwhile mentioning that i'm open to work remotely on collaborations if Auckland is not your main stay. Keen to remix and/or work with material that you may also feel could be interpreted from another angle. So if you've got something that you'd like a different take on, also get in touch. Never know where it might lead.
