I want to try get a group of musicians together to form a street band that plays Bluegrassy hillbilly type stuff. Any musician who is keen regardless of what instrument you play hit me up. Extra points if you play something suiting the genre or something weird like a double bass or washboard etc... I may have access to a studio for some half decent recordings as well if that entices anybody.

Check out a band on youtube called "Yes Ma'am" to get an idea of whats in my head.

I am an amateur guitarist who can also pick a mandolin a bit, love the bluegrass sound but don't know much of it so would be willing to learn. I'm in Auckland central area and probabaly a bit older (41). Any good?
