Looking for a few other musos to form a band with or am possibly looking to join a band. Already know of two drummers who are quite keen, so looking for another guitarist and bassist; I've played in a few bands over the years - http://chastisement.bandcamp.com/ - last album I worked on - https://soundcloud.com/chastisement/longer-teaser - last little spacey drone I was working on. Anyway I'm down for anything but I'm quite keen to start jamming regularly and gigging again.

I'm interested in mixing up a lot of styles - extreme metal, shoegaze, progressive rock, noise, post-punk, post-rock and ambient.

hi my names courtney, i'm 18 , live in timaru and am on polytech break for the holidays soon and am wanting to make a screamo band. I went through this website looking for people i thought would be cool to create it with. It's funny though cause the different people i was thinking of ( haven't asked everyone yet) lives in auckland, manawatu and christchurch and me in timaru. lol
I make lyrics and sing/scream and i have this crazy idea to travel up to chch practise with 2 different people there ( drummer and back up singer) record the song(lyrics , song and base beat) then get send it online to you and 2 others where you can gather in auckland practise together and overlay it with the lyrics and singing/drumbeat that we recorded in chch. that's how i thought i could make this work possibly? i haven't got a name for the band yet.

I already have 1 sheet of lyrics( no beat and not recorded yet) saved to pendrive and choruses and parts of verses to 3 other songs. ( could also send copies to people to see if they like the lyrics too)

And im coming up to auckland on the 12th of april.( but will be travelling from timaru, to wellington, then wellington to palmerston north, then new Plymouth and then arriving in auckland on the 12th where i haven't decided on a return date back to timaru yet but before the 19th of april) all i need to see is if you and everyone else would be keen and then we can all share details to get in touch and make this band happen. ( would be seriously amazing)
