Greetings, we are two people who want to start a band looking for other people, who want to start a band.

So yes, we're interested in playing the sort of music that came of the whole Minor Threat thing, with special emphasis on a group of bands that immediately followed - Rites of Spring/Embrace/The Hated - you could, if you felt the need, call this emo! However that word means little anymore so I didn't use it in the title.

We might possibly end up sounding like: Fugazi, Shotmaker, Policy of Three, Hoover, Current, as well as some more modern bands like The Red Scare, Yaphet Kotto, Off Minor, Twelve Hour Turn, etc.

We're mainly looking for a guitarist or two, but anyone interested will be considered as we both play guitar/bass decently, while only one of us plays drums and the other "sings". So if you even have a vague interest in the style, and you've picked up or sat down at an instrument before, that's enough. Hell, if you like more than two of those bands that would be excellent.
