Hey guys,I'm looking for any female electric guitarists (you dont have to be pro, just pick it up and riff) or drummer in the wellington region, trying to make an all chick rock band,type of music is varied between melodical/melancholic rock or whatever works out. I'm the lead singer, abot 16 years of age. got a husky deep voice that suits this kinda music but can adjust to other things, if u play any instrument or need a vocalist for an all chick band in wellington..please reply/...

Hey, does it have to be an all girl band? I'm a guy that plays guitar, for 3 years now. I've been in bands before so I know the whole deal. I'm 16 too. We could be like Le tigre! although, are they 3 girls or 2 girls and a guy? I don't know, I'm into heaps of music, probably whatever you're into. what suburb you live in?

i have been playing the drums for about 2 years so i know about performing with others, uhmmm i live in karori now but im moving soon (probably churton park...i have no clue yet ) but to heck with it if i was living in aussie i'd come to practise! *determined look*

the types of music, i pretty much like anythin with guitars,,,really i listen to all the old stuff (clash,rolling stones) some metal bands, hard rock, jazz,goth melodical.. so im pretty open minded about it..

so yes, please do reply if you're still interested

ummm..i dont know aye. I have to admit I've been missing being in a band and preforming, but at the moment I'm quite busy, and we'd have to find a weekly time to practice, i guess i could squeeze in some time in maybe. Are you planning to enter rockquest? i think it starts in May, so if we do start, we gotta start soon. There was actually a school band that wanted me to join, but nothing's happened with them so far..

Who's 'us'? are you the singer or drummer? or both?yea and another problem might be locations, if its churton park, thats not too far i guess(i dont have my licence so my mum would have to drive me or get the train).
Yea I listen to some old stuff, The Beatles, Sex Pistols, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Carol King..shes incredible, oh and Hermins Hermits, they're the shit.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Evermore, they are incredible. Also AFI, Smashing Pumpkins, Salmonella Dub, Modest Mouse, Enya, The Music

So yea, let me know if ya still keen

talk about busy: I've got heaps of school work too, but at least we have one thing established that we can sometime arrange a practise time.
well we want to at least try to make it into rockquest,if we cant we still have under 18 stuff we can do.

I am the lead singer, "us" meanin "the girls and I"

don't worry we are all pretty motivated,excited and nice people ;
'course I'm still keen, how about you?

Hey, ah, sounds good, but...would you be able to hold on for a few days, I'm meeting up with that band tomorrow that asked me to play for them. If they're what I'm looking for, then I'll stay. But if they're not, then I'm all yours.

What form are you all in, and is it all girls?would i be the only guy?

We will practise somewhere suitable for everyone ...possibly in the city area..not towards petone or anything.
