Here we go again.... yup, this add's been up before. It's a hard road finding the perfect guitarist....

We're punk and rock
We do mostly covers and gig as a covers band
We are working on our own material and are putting together an album

Here's the old add:

We're a Christchurch rock covers trio that have been together for around three years. Prior to that we've all been jamming with various bands around town for 15+ years. All members are 35+ years and would prefer the new player to be around our age. We have an established set but feel it's time to add another member to fill out our sound and hopefully allow us to play a few tunes that we otherwise couldn't. We gig every couple of months but that will hopefully become more often when the right guitarist joins.

We're a bunch of mates who are in it for fun.

We're a mix of punk and rock. A lot of the rock we cover is punked up - like Me First and The Gimme Gimmes style but we still play pure rock too. We cover Led Zep, Weezer, David Bowie, Judas Priest, Green Day, Jethro Tull, The Animals, The Small Faces, Sublime, Billy Joel, The Doobie Brothers, Queens of The Stone Age, The Stray Cats, The Beatles, AC/DC etc...

If you are a purist who needs the arrangement to be like the recording then look elsewhere. You should be able to play in any key without a capo and be game for improvisation.

Also, we've started working on our own material so you'll hopefully be game for that too but if not we'll keep writing stuff as a trio.
