Guitarist looking for original prog metal/rock in Auckland

Hey ya,
I'm a guitarist currently seeking a band to join or musician to collaborate with around the same age. Though I no longer own an amp. However, I do have an Axe-Fx Ultra, which enables me to jam using a P.A. system. Currently, I'm in Auckland every other week, but starting in January, I'll be here full-time. If I had an ideal sound to go for it’ll probably be a cross between The Contortionist Clairvoyant album and Karnivool Sound Awake album. So I’ll probably bring that sort flavour into the band.
Musicians Im looking for:
Preferably have some gig experience, writing experience and decent gear.
